What is the Roshni project?
The Roshni (light) project is part of the Southall Healthy Living Initiative, which aims to look after the welfare and well-being of all residents of Southall. This three year project is funded by the New Opportunities Fund (NOF) and will end in March 2006.
Who can benefit?
The project is specifically designed for Asian women living in Southall.
What is on offer?
Experienced and qualified counsellors provide one to one confidential counselling.
- Counselling is provided in different Asian languages including Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Sindhi, Urdu as well as English.
- A twice a month Asian Women's Mental Health support group to provide coping skills to deal with emotional dilemmas. Link to Groups.
- A satellite provision has been set up in various locations including Southall Day Centre, and Havelock and Golf Links housing estates to provide counselling.

- Social Services and Community Mental Health Teams

- We are open Monday - Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
